(RESEARCH) How to Lip Sync:

As a task, we was given “Happy by Pharrell Williams“, specifically the first minute, and the task was to create a draft music video of this that contained 3 different camera shots and was a performance rather than narrative to ensure lip sync practice. This was the final result:

After the whole production process of the video the reflection I have is that for my actual music video I need to make sure that my actors are 100% confident with the lyrics and are full able to perform everything. Additionally, to have more than enough shots so I have a wide range of selection to mix and match from to create the best possible piece I can.

Yet a positive that I have noticed from the video is that the camera work was good including the 0.5x lens made the video pop and made it feel more professional. Therefore for my actual video I will try to maintain this because I feel it is so important for the video to be of the highest quality since my target audience of 16-25 would expect this.
